Old Fashion Oatmeal Cookies





Have you seen the new recipe that says---

"for those days you just want to make 1 cookie".... 

blink, blink..

Have you ever had a day like that??  
Me either!!  

Today I'm sharing the sweet man's most 
favorite oatmeal cookie recipe.  
It's crisp and buttery and it must be healthy--
it has 3 cups of oatmeal!  :)

Old Fashion Oatmeal Cookies

2 sticks of butter, softened

3/4 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla

1 1/2 cup all purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

3 cups Quaker old fashioned oats 


Heat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, beat butter and sugars on medium speed of electric mixer until creamy. 

Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. 
Add combined flour, baking soda, and salt; mix well. 
Add oats; mix well. 
Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls
onto ungreased cookie sheets. 

Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown. 
Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to wire rack. 

 Cool completely. Store tightly covered.

Beat the butter and sugar until creamy...


add the eggs and vanilla...


Add the flour, baking soda, and salt; mix well. 


Add oats; mix well.


Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown...enjoy!
