This grilling recipe was so easy and delicious!
Loved that sweet taste of pineapple with the pork
with a little touch of heat from the Jalapenos!
Grilled Pork Chops with Grilled Pineapple Salsa
4 boneless pork chops 1/2" thick
1 TBSP lime juice
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 tsp Morton's Nature Seasoning
Mix the lime juice, soy sauce and seasoning.
Pour over chops and marinate a couple of hours
or overnight before grilling.
Pineapple Salsa
1 can pineapple tidbits or fresh pineapple if you choose
1 onion chopped, red or purple will give it color
1 TBSP lime juice
1 TBSP minced Jalapeno pepper or
2 TBSP of Jalapeno pepper from a jar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 TBSP butter
Combine all the ingredients and place in a pan to grill.
Keep grilling and stirring while you grill the chops.
Serve the pork chops with a side of the salsa.
**********
Squeeze the lime juice over the chops...
Add the minced garlic...
and the seasoning...
Pour the yummy soy sauce on next...
I sliced my onion in 1/2 inch thick slices
and sprayed both sides with PAM...
I wanted to grill them whole to achieve those beautiful
charred grill marks...
I drained my pineapple and added the jalapenos,
lime juice and seasoning...
Place your onions on the grill...
Add the salsa pan...
After grilling the onions a bit, I added them to the salsa pan...
and cut them up...
Perfection! Grilled Pork Chops with Grilled Pineapple Salsa
and a side of baked Sweet Potatoes
Enjoy!
