Cheesy Ham Chicken

This is a great recipe that makes a
chicken breast a little more dressy!
It's great served with vegetables or would be
wonderful as a sandwich on a buttery toasted bun!

Cheesy Ham Chicken

4 Chicken Breasts, thawed
1 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs, beaten

a few shakes of hot sauce of your choice
1 cup panko bread crumbs
2 tsp Cavender's Greek Seasoning
olive oil
4 slices deli ham
1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese

Preheat to 350 degrees.

Mix the cup of flour with the pepper, garlic powder and salt; place in flat bowl and set aside.

Whip the eggs in another bowl, add the hot sauce

and place by the flour bowl.
Mix the Panko crumbs with the Greek seasoning
in another bowl and line it up with the other two.

Dredge the chicken in the flour, then the
egg wash and onto the Panko crumbs.

Brown in the olive oil on medium high heat.

After frying to a golden brown, transfer to a baking dish and top with a piece of ham and then the shredded mozzarella.

Place in oven for 10-12 minutes until cheese
is melted and the chicken is done through.
