and they are gorgeous!
My brother, Larry, had worked for over a
month
painting her cabinets and installing new hardware.
When the
counter tops were installed,
we only had the simple job of lifting the
cast iron sink
back in its place and connecting it---
sounds easy, right?
Ha!
After 10-12 hours of labor underneath the kitchen cabinet, many trips to Lowe's ---

I don't want to darken a Lowe's doorstep again--
until they put Christmas items out...
just
saying...
The plumbing section is just not my
The plumbing section is just not my
"cup of tea"...so to speak...
I had to even buy a cooking magazine there
after our 8th trip of the day,
just to calm my nerves...
sometimes a girl
has to be compensated
for her pain and suffering...
While I'm on the subject of the plumbing department...

did you know they sell kitchen a bathroom faucets
that range from $100.00 to over $1200.00 in Lowe's?
Does the water come out any better...
Does the water come out any better...
softer...
more luxurious...
from a $1200.00 faucet?
That's MY question!!
Just another one of those things I just don't understand....sigh..

Anyway, after that looooong day spent under the sink,
the "mechanic" states matter of factly,
So, after some more sealant,
some
prayers over the drain and a wish that
the plumber fairies would come
during the night
to fix everything, day 1 was over.
On day two, I went back to work
On day two, I went back to work
to
rest and recover from day one.
Yes, I got out of there!!
The "mechanic" applied some plumbers
tape on the
"minor" issues and all was well.
I was just glad my brother had already replaced all the bathroom sinks for her earlier this year!

I don't
think I can justify all that money I would have to have spent on more
cooking magazines :)
Sharing my Sausage & Cheese Muffins today!
They're delicious, easy to make and your coworkers will love you when you walk in the door with them! :)
Sausage & Cheese Muffins
1 roll sausage such as Jimmy Dean or your favorite
2 cans Crescent Rolls
4 eggs
1 cup milk
2 cups Mozzarella cheese (or cheese of your choice)
Salt & pepper to taste --about 1/2 tsp & 1/4 tsp respectively
Brown and drain the sausage.
Slightly beat the eggs and add the milk.
Stir in cheese and sausage.
Stir in seasonings.
Spray your muffin tin with Pam.
Separate the crescent rolls into rectangles and
press perforations to seal.
Out of each rectangle, cut into 4 squares.
Press each square into the muffin pan.
Top each one with the sausage and cheese mixture.
Bake 375 degrees about 12-15 min.
Let cool slightly and run spoon around edges and pop out--enjoy!
For some unknown reason, I don't have a picture of the group of ingredients...hmmm...
I hate technical difficulties,
but we will press on anyway...
