The yummy ingredients...

Throw the butter in the crockpot with utter abandon....
ahh...that felt good didn't it??

Have a handsome man slice the peppers while you watch...
my favorite part!

Look how beautifully perfect they are...he's simply amazing!

I sliced the onions....
they're not as pretty and perfect, but they'll do...

Throw them in the crock pot next...

Then the peppers...

Place the chicken tenders on next and
pour the steak seasoning over them ...

then add a few shakes of Morton's Nature Seasoning...

After 5 hours on high=perfection!!  And it smells soooo good!

I toasted our buns...

Put a heaping helping of the philly chicken on next...

Covered it with Mozzarella cheese ...
and placed it under the broiler until it was all melty...

Oh, my, was it ever delicious!

Gracious...I am back from the netherworld..
I certainly didn't mean to be this long
without cooking and posting...

I was so very sick the week before my vacation...
bronchitis, pneumonia and all...

You know, just what you want to have
before your cruise to the Bahamas...

Then it's taken me a couple of weeks to catch up with
work and life in general since I've been back!

But enough with that nonsense...
I need to get my groove back, Stella...
 Back to my recipes!!  :)

This was so very delicious and easy--
a great dinner to come home to...

My son, Christopher and his wife, Amy are moving to a new home on Saturday and I'm thinking I just might make it
for them and their moving helpers for that day...

Maybe that will motivate more helpers to come!  :)
