If you ever had King's Hawaiian Bread you know how much you tastebuds will thank you for trying this french toast casserole. If you've never had King's Bread, well there's no better recipe to start with than this!

KING’S HAWAIIAN BREAD FRENCH TOAST CASSEROLE

1 King’s Hawaiian Round Bread loaf--
we had some leftover King's Hawaiian Buns, so we used those

5 large eggs

1 cup milk

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

3 teaspoons ground cinnamon

3 tablespoons brown sugar

3 tablespoons butter

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Melt the butter.

Whisk the eggs, milk, vanilla,  melted butter, brown sugar
and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon together until well blended.

Tear the  King’s Hawaiian bread into chunky pieces.
Place these pieces into a large bowl.

Pour the egg mixture over the bread and gently push down until all the bread is coated well.

Pour the bread into your casserole pan.

Generously sprinkle some additional cinnamon over the casserole.

Bake 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
Let sit for about 10 minutes and serve with syrup.

Tear the bread into pieces...

Whisk the melted butter into the milk and cream mixture...

Add your brown sugar and cinnamon..

Pour it over your bread...

Pour it in your casserole dish and sprinkle some more
cinnamon and brown sugar on top...yum!!

My Noah came to cook with me this morning!
That's his favorite thing to do with Grandma!
He thinks we should be cooking ALL the time :)

Bake for 40 minutes on 350 degrees...

It comes out full and puffy and so very
deliciously fantastic like this!

Serve with some warm syrup :)
