Grilled Chimichurri Steak & Teriyaki Garlic Portobellos

While my Daniel was visiting last week, I grilled a wonderful steak that was marinated with a delicious Chimi churri sauce...Yum!
If you've never used Chimi Churri, and you love sauces
like we do, you're in for a treat.
You can make your own, or, run to your nearest Sam's Club
like I did and purchase theirs.
Hope you enjoy!

Grilled Chimichurri Steak & Teriyaki Garlic Portobellos

What is Chimichurri, you ask?

Chimmichurri is a green sauce used for grilled meat, originally from Argentina.   It is based on finely-chopped parsley, minced garlic, olive oil, oregano, and white or red wine vinegar.

In the dictionary, it should have a picture of me smiling
by the definition, because I love it so!

This is the convenient little package they have a Sam's Club...

I took one of the containers and poured it in the ziploc bag
that I was using to marinate our sirloin steaks ...

I popped it in the refrigerator and let it sit overnight...

I grilled our steaks to an amazing medium rare--
but you can grill yours to the desired doneness--
I sliced it really thin and poured additional
chimichurri on top to serve...

To make the absolutely scrumptious baby portobellos,
I use a bit of butter in a pan along with
Kikkoman Roasted Garlic Teriyaki...

In about 15 minutes or so on medium heat,
they're cooked to the desired doneness and delicious flavor...
They were simply amazing served with this steak!
