Joyce's Sauerkraut
32 oz Claussen's Sauerkraut, drain,
thoroughly rinse and drain again
2 boneless pork chops
1 lb bacon
1 large onion, chopped
1 small head of cabbage, chopped
Salt & pepper to taste
Cook bacon and drain on paper towels.
Add pork chops to bacon grease and cook through.
Remove and slice into small pieces.
To the pan add the drained sauerkraut,
onion, cabbage, pork pieces and bacon.
Turn heat to low, cover with lid and let steam
for about 30 minutes, stirring frequently.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
