Robert's Salsa Verde Pork Tenderloin

I work with Robert, and, oh my, he is an incredible cook!
He brought this pork tenderloin in to share one day recently,
and we were scraping the slow cooker!

Robert's Salsa Verde Pork Tenderloin

1 pork tenderlion
Morton's Natures Seasoning
1 pkg taco seasoning
1 onion, diced
1 jar salsa verde
2 cans green chilis

Season the pork tenderloin all over with
the Morton's Natures Seasoning and the taco seasoning.

Sear it on all sides in a frying pan with a bit of oil.

Slice the onion and place it in the bottom of your slow cooker.  Place the seared tenderloin on the onions.

Pour the salsa verde and the green chilies over the pork.
 Cook on low 8 hours.

It's amazing served over rice!

If you have any of the wonderful stock it makes, save it--
we're going to create a most wonderful soup with it this week!

**********
The great beginnings..

Sprinkle the seasoning and the taco seasoning
on the pork and sear on all sides...

Place the diced onion in the slow cooker...

Place the pork loin on the onion...

Pour the chillies and the salsa verde over the pork...

When you get home, your house will smell wonderful and the pork and sauces will look amazing like this!

We served it over rice with some of the juices!  Delicious!
