Grilled Summer Steaks

In celebration of summer and red meat,
I'm sharing one of our most favorite marinades.
Leave it in the refrigerator on those steaks a few hours and
grill them to perfection --Yum!

Oh, my gracious how I love steak!
I am the best little carnivore and could probably
eat red meat 3 times a day..7 days a week.
And there's no better way to eat it than medium rare--
with emphasis on the rare part!

What I only learned recently is that my sweet fella has just been enduring it like this with me for the past 4 years...
he only likes his steak pretty well done...
He didn't want to say anything and upset me...what a sweetie!

He's had to eat his steak "my way" and learn every sauce from each restaurant and fast food chain that I must have
with each order...and...he's still here!
A keeper for sure ;)

Grilled Summer Steaks

1/3 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup olive oil
1/3 cup lemon juice
1/3 cup lime juice
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
3 Tbsp dried basil
1 1/2 Tbsp dried parsley flakes
1 tsp ground pepper
1 tsp fresh minced garlic (2 cloves)

Marinate steaks 4-12 hours.  Grill.

The delicious beginnings...

Mix all the marinade ingredients together and stir till combined...

Place the steaks in a ziploc bag and pour the marinade over them...

Squish and turn over and over to get the
deliciousness all over the steaks...

Put in the refrigerator 4-12 hours...

Throw those babies on a grill inside or outside...

Slice...swoon and enjoy!
