I brought these sweet potato biscuits in a few days ago and
this is what one of my friends emailed me...

Sweet Potato Biscuits
1 stick butter
1 pkg frozen yam patties, partially thawed
1 can Grands biscuits, flaky or layered
1 cup water
2 c sugar
2 TBSP Karo Syrup
sugar and cinnamon to sprinkle on top
Melt butter in 8x8 dish.
Pull biscuits
apart in half.
Wrap yams in biscuits and place in the buttered dish.
Combine water, sugar, Karo syrup in saucepan
and boil 10 minutes--being careful not to scorch.

Pour mixture over biscuits--it will be soupy.
Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over the top.
Bake 350 degrees for 30-40
minutes or until
biscuits are golden brown.
The syrup mixture will thicken as it cools.

The delicious ingredients...
In your saucepan, combine your water, sugar and Karo Syrup...
Boil low and slow about 10 minutes...
Meanwhile...tuck the yam patties in the biscuits as so...
Melt the butter in your baking pan and add the biscuits...
Pour the syrup mixture over the biscuits...
Sprinkle the tops with cinnamon and sugar...
