Pig Puddin'

Have a got an easy dessert treat for you!  
My favorite Bar-B-Que place in Gulf Breeze, Florida, 
used to serve a desert called "Pig Puddin"...
It was one of my favorites!  
Like all the good places, they're no longer in business, 
but I've recreated their dessert..
threw in a couple of little touches of my own..
and it's pretty awesome!

 Pig Puddin'

1 pre-bought Pecan Pie--Edwards brand is my favorite
1 lb cool whip
1 cup caramel ice cream topping
1/2 bag mini chocolate chips
1 bag Rolo mini's

 


Cut your pecan pie into small squares...
it will be very difficult not to keep popping them in your mouth... just saying...


In a large bowl, start layering the ingredients...
the cut up pie, 1/2 cup of the mini chocolate chips, 
1/2 the bag of Rolo Mini's...


 1/2 the cool whip, 1/2 cup of the ice cream topping...
and then repeat your layers...


Give the mixture a few good stirs to combine 
all the ingredients like this!
 

I added a little more ice cream topping, 
a few more chips and a few more Rolo mini's...
Refrigerate a couple of hours or overnight...
Dig in!
