Who doesn't love the traditional
Green Bean Casserole during the holidays?
I'm adding this particular version to my collection
courtesy of my daughter-in-law, Amy.
She's perfected her own twist to the original recipe...
It's delicious, has a beautiful golden color when baked and
the kids love the flavor better than the mushroom soup version. Enjoy!
Amy's Green Bean Casserole
2 cans green beans, drained
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp Morton's Nature Seasoning or salt & pepper
2 cups French's French Fried Onions
Place the green beans in a casserole dish.
Add 1 cup of the French Fried Onions.
Combine the milk, soup and seasoning.
Stir well and pour over green beans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Add the additional cup of French Fried Onions
and bake 5-7 minutes more.
